Here, I would like to extend my New Year's wishes to the people of all ethnic groups in the country, to the compatriots in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, Taiwan compatriots and overseas Chinese! I also wish friends from all over the world all the best!

Heaven rewards hard work and changes with each passing day. In 2017, we held the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which started a new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way. China's GDP has reached the level of 80 trillion yuan, more than 13 million new jobs have been created in urban and rural areas, social endowment insurance has covered more than 900 million people, basic medical insurance has covered 1.35 billion people, and more than 10 million rural poor people have achieved poverty reduction. We held a military deployment at the Zhurihe Joint Training Base to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's ***. 2018 is the first year to fully implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress. The 19th CPC National Congress has drawn a beautiful blueprint for my country's development in the next 30 years. The nine-story platform starts from the tired soil. To turn this blueprint into reality, we must not be based on fantasies or false voices, take one step at a time, and do a good job in a down-to-earth manner.

In 2018, we will usher in the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up. Reform and opening up is the only way for contemporary China's development and progress, and the only way to realize the Chinese dream.
